Holiday Gifts From Some Of My Favorite Women

Last weekend was an epic show for me at the 25th annual Women's Festival of Crafts, it was my best show over! I worked super hard getting ready for it and made a ton of work, I even had some back stock.
I shared my space with Molly, it was her first show. So great to have her by my side.
She sold several of her fabulous rings and got many inquiries about custom orders. I love her display!
I had so much fun shopping for gifts and for myself! Here's some of the things I nabbed from some of my favorite artists and crafters.
Bought this felted feather garland from Carrie Root of The Root Studio. She had so many cute items at her booth.
Love this goat print and little sloth magnet from Nikki Laxar
Couldn't decide which wrist warmers to get from Nicole's Threads so I bought both.
Bought these Batik flags for myself and others as gifts from Alison Parsons (she doesn't seem to be on the web but you can email her at parsonsaj@comcast.net)
I've been eyeing Heather Sterns pottery for a long time and I'm so happy to finally own a set of her gorgeous mugs. Her website is Muddy Creek Pottery.
I already own several Foliage bags from Tessa Valyou but I was drooling over her new ones. Got this tiny wallet for my business cards.

Love these rocks from Rebecca of Heartfire Henna.
Had to have this fun fake fur hat by Nancy Rood of GreatHat.com
Lots of fab items, hope this helps you find some great gifts.
Oh and one more...
Right now there's a Localvore Deal for half off a massage from Amanda Young - my favorite massage therapist. A perfect gift to give or keep! Happy Shopping!

Everyone Needs Some New Duds

I'm obsessed with this golden yellow/mustard color. I just made a necklace with these amazing hessonite garnet briolettes. I'm working on more sterling cuff rings with gold adornments. I'll have them in my Etsy shop soon.

Also, who doesn't love New Duds? An awesome couple makes up New Duds. Husband, Torrey, who draws, designs and screenprints. Wife, Tessa, who designs, cuts and sews. Most items they make are One Of a Kind, Limited Editions and Small Batches so grab them while you can! They make this quintessential Burlington Tshirt love the retro look. Tessa's bags are beautiful and so well made. I want the Golden Feather Tote and the small Feather Zip Pouch.  How great is the color of this Neckwarmer? Oh and they make Pillows too! Right now they are offering FREE SHIPPING ON ALL DOMESTIC ORDERS THROUGH MONDAY - Use Coupon Code : HOHOHO

You can find Tessa with her bags, scarves, accessories and cat toys this weekend at the Women's Festival of Vermont. So excited for this show, today will be a crazy day finishing everything up for it. Hope to see you there! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Girl About Town - with Nicole's Threads

These pieces from Nicole's Threads go so well with my jewelry. I want the Chevron Dress, perfect for any temp, easily layered and can be dressed up or down. I just love the print and colors of her Tribal Top. I own several pairs of her Leg Warmers (made from old sweaters) and I might have to get these too! She makes great button jewelry, Bobby Pins and accessories that are very popular and affordable. Check out her fabulous Etsy shop with all kinds of clothing, accessories and even housewares. She also has an amazing studio in the South end. All of her items are handmade by her and are either one-of-a-kind or limited edition.

We're so excited that our booths will be right next to each other at the upcoming Women's Festival of Vermont (the weekend after Thanksgiving). Workin' like mad till then!

And then it was Winter

Things seemed to have sped up and slowed down all at the same time.  The days are shorter (and colder) and things seem quiet and still, my crazy summer/fall pace has simmered way down.  BUT I can feel that Holiday train building up steam and heading right for me!  I'm busy getting ready for The Women's Festival of Crafts, which takes place the weekend after Thanksgiving at City Hall in Burlington, VT.
Above is a photo of one of my new "Key Chains".  This time I made the key, I used BronzClay and carved it.

In Etsy news, I've created a shop for Celie, check it out HERE.
